Cream Wax and detailed on a Benz...

Mobile detailing Knoxville area means I have a 25 mile radius from downtown Knoxville Tennessee. This puts my Tellico Village clients right on the edge of my detailing zone, but today I made my way to the Village to detail a Benz.

This Benz didn't need much. The owner was doing a superb job keeping it looking like a Mercedes, but the crooks and nannies did need some attention; the owner also wanted it to have a cream wax to protect it from the harsh weather we can get in Knoxville in the upcoming winter months.

Started out with the usual (hand-wash which includes decontamination, wheels, wheel wells, all jams cleaned plus vacuum the trunk area), and added the cream wax to protect the paint. Made my way to the inside to clear the windows of any smudges, and steamed the vents and any stains that were deep in the fabric. Followed with a carpet shampoo that added life to the stale carpet.

This Benz has more glass than most 2/4 door cars--To get them streak free, I used 3 towels total. One for clearing any dirt, one for removing any smudges, and the last towel was used in combination with water to buff the glass to streak free. Total time on this job took 4 hours and a price of $240.

The Benz was previously cleaned but needed detailed. The crooks and nannies were dusty.

My steamer made quick work of this piece.

Spent a lot of time polishing the chrome around this Benz. The glass also needed to be streak free, so my 3 towel method worked great.

Clouds coming through after my cream wax applied by hand.

Not a detail until the truck is vacuumed.

Chrome needed to be polished on the doors and door jam area.

Finshed it off with a carpet shampoo that made the interior smell a lot better.
